Behind the name, SEOPressor hides a popular WordPress plugin for SEO optimization of websites. SEOPressor advertises that you get the maximum amount of SEO options within WordPress installs. Several functions are made available for this purpose, individual adjustments are possible and clear statistics are provided. In order to verify these statements, we carried out a detailed SEOPressor test. Below you will find all information about features, usability, target groups, updates, and support for the WordPress SEO plugin.
Due to its simple structure and extensive functionality, the SEOPressor plugin is designed for both large and small WordPress websites. Thanks to the very affordable price model, it is also affordable for any use. Although the costs are incurred monthly, they are kept within limits. Compared to other WordPress SEO plugins that charge higher one-time prices, the overall impression of SEOPressor is better in many ways. Compared to the All In One SEO Pack (Pro) or the Yoast SEO Plugin (Premium), the SEOPressor Plugin was particularly convincing in terms of the freedom it offers for different purposes.
While small websites often fail to use paid tools because of the budget, this often does not matter for large projects. However, SEOPressor not only allows its use on small websites thanks to its pricing model. Functionally, the WordPress SEO plugin also helps a lot. We do not recommend using the extension for a one-page website. Here the added value seems to be too small. For one-page websites, many SEO tools offer free alternatives to check SEO values and rankings.
However, as soon as it is a web presence with multiple pages and contexts, SEOPressor makes sense. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a private blog with just a few posts, a small webshop, an artist portfolio, or a listing of the services of a freelancer.
Medium and large websites with over 10,000 pages can benefit even more from the SEO features in SEOPressor. Since SEOPressor does not impose any limits on page crawls, the larger a WordPress website is, the greater the benefits at the same costs. Nevertheless, the SEOPressor test showed very clearly: This SEO plugin is really conceivable for all purposes and target groups.
The SEOPressor plugin’s menu gives an easy-to-understand overview of all the functions that are offered. The first point is the dashboard. All important metrics and recent changes are displayed there. The other menu items offer insights into all information and functions that are displayed on the dashboard.
One of the most important features of the SEOPressor WP plugin is the site audit. Presumably, this point comes second, immediately after the dashboard. In the site audit area, relevant details are given that provide information about the “health” of the website. The word “health” in this case is derived from the English term “health”. You could also call it technical, content, and search engine relevant metrics of the website.
SEOPressor offers a general average value in addition to the health score when analyzing the website. You can compare this over longer periods of time to track the development of your websites. Not only these comparative values can be found in the SEOPressor Site Audit section. As is usual for a detailed site audit, errors and warnings are also displayed there. These are continuously updated and checked again with each crawl. In this way, you can very quickly eliminate missing meta titles, meta descriptions, 404 links, reading difficulties, or the like.
The next point of the SEOPressor WP plugin deals with SEO settings that apply to the entire website. For this reason, it is also called Sitewide Settings. The features and settings present in it are probably familiar to many Yoast SEO users. It seems like these are at least partially based on Yoast SEO. For example, it is about which fallbacks should be displayed in the SEO titles or SEO descriptions, how the website is displayed on the web or how sitemaps should be used.
The next item, Homepage Settings, contains functions that are similar in principle. However, these relate exclusively to the start page. This is because the home page is a special case on almost every website. It should either give an overview of offers and services or whet your appetite for more. In some cases, the home page is deliberately a landing page, although this is often discouraged.
Another important feature that is common for WordPress SEO plugins is the link manager. An optimized link and backlink profile is essential for every website. The SEOPressor extension gives a good overview where you can quickly and easily follow up. This applies, for example, to lost links or incorrectly set references. Especially with website relaunches, website migrations or changing various categories and directories, broken links can quickly occur. The SEOPressor test showed that the plugin provides a quick remedy. This can lead to better rankings with little effort. At the same time, it should be mentioned that the SEOPressor Link Manager does not offer any outstanding added value compared to competing SEO tools.
The Link Manager also includes all those functions that can repair broken links. This can be done with 301 redirects and canonical links, among other things. Robot rules are also available, with the help of which you can set how search engines should treat a page. In this case, the following options are available.
The remaining menu items of the extension deal with general settings, user roles, and support. In the SEOPressor test, however, we noticed that the plugin was very easy to use. On the one hand, this is due to the compact structure and the beautiful graphic design. There is practically no potential for incorrect navigation with the 9 menu items. Within the menu items, there are sometimes subcategories that are displayed in the form of tabs or riders. But there is always a good and easily understandable overview.
This section is currently a work in progress. All features of SEOPressor are listed and rated here. We ask for some patience.
For several decades we have been used to suppliers of software products offering large and often confusing price tables for different tariffs. This problem is completely avoided with SEOPressor. At a constant $9 (US Dollars) per month, the SEO WordPress plugin is only available in one variant. The only comparison SEOPressor offers on the plugin website is one versus several competing plugins. Although the statements of these comparisons are correct, they are of course prepared in such a way that SEOPressor is presented as the ideal solution.
For around $100 per year, the SEOPressor WordPress plugin is fully operational and always provides optimization options for your own website. This license can be used for as many websites as you like. Updates for future versions of SEOPressor are also free for life. That almost sounds too good to be true. For this reason, we would like to point out that it is common practice for software and plugin providers to only provide existing products with minimal updates in the long term.
At the same time, new products are being developed that are very similar to the existing ones but have various differences and, above all, a new name. Since this is a new product, you won’t get lifetime updates unless you buy it too. We are by no means imputing this sales strategy to SEOPressor. It has not been done by SEOPressor yet, nor is there any evidence of it. On the contrary: Our opinion of the SEO WordPress plugin is very high after the SEOPressor test. We have only questioned the business practice of the industry in the course of reporting and would therefore like to point out all potentially relevant details.
The annual costs of just under $100 already mentioned are comparatively cheap compared to other products. This is mainly because competitors like Yoast SEO Premium do not allow unlimited use of the WordPress extension. There, a separate license must be purchased for each side. This not only complicates the planning of large projects with multiple websites. This also increases the costs drastically. From a price to performance perspective, SEOPressor is therefore unbeatable.
The SEOPressor team is (obviously) always keen to provide meaningful updates to the WordPress plugin. We were able to experience this for ourselves in the SEOPressor test when a minor update of the software was due. Apart from that, there are enough reports online that show, among other things, videos and screenshots that SEOPressor is updated at regular intervals. This affects both functional components, as well as optics and design, as well as the security of the plugin.
If there are questions about or problems with the SEOPressor plugin, there are several help options on the part of the provider. On the one hand, SEOPressor tutorials, online courses, and a knowledge base can be found under “Resources” on the SEOPressor website. The company blog also contains helpful, albeit general information. You have to expect longer response times via social channels such as Facebook and Twitter if you send a private message there. It seems to work a little faster if you send a public message to the pinboard or tweet feed.
There is no direct contact in the sense of a contact form on the SEOPressor website. However, the company is constantly sending out SEO tips via email. If you are in this circle after subscribing to the mailing list or because of purchase, you could reply to some messages earlier. Meanwhile, no-reply email addresses are used, but there may be a contact address in the footer. This has already changed twice in the course of our SEOPressor test, which is why there is no specific recommendation. This is where the company seems to be making things a bit difficult for customers.
On the other hand, they accept high-profile contact via social media. This brings with it a certain seriousness, especially since you have to face existing problems in front of the entire community. In addition, a problem can be solved for many people at once, especially since everyone can see it. We find the lack of a classic contact method surprising. However, this did not lead to a negative rating in SEOPressor at all. After all, the SEO WordPress plugin is a powerful product that provides great results almost regardless of the target group.
